There are many online resources to help you get started with drawing Zentangle® art. That's how I began my Zentangle journey.
However, live classes provide the opportunity to give feedback in real time that you can't get through a prerecorded video, whether it's about your arm placement, composition, or strokes. It can be easy to give up if your first attempt doesn't come out looking exactly as you envisioned. With interactive classes, I like to offer encouragement to keep going so that you can see the beauty in what you've created. It's also nice to meet people in person and to admire our work together in a mosaic at the end of a class.
Since 2022, I've hosted 2-to-3-hour in-person and Zoom classes and look forward to teaching more regularly to share the joy of Zentangle. If you would like to schedule a private session or are interested in hosting a class for your organization, please contact me.
Introductory classes focus on the traditional Zentangle Method using black ink and graphite on a white 3.5" square tile, illustrated below.
